Er.... about what you would expect.

Popular Mechanics is a somewhat generic publication that attempts to cater
to an audience ranging from interested neophytes to experienced amatuers.
This will, of necessity, dilute the message.

Haynes, Bentley etc write shop manuals where the intended audience is an
experienced amatuer or a shop professional. They are also specific to the
model.

I figger, if ya gotta ask, the Popular Mechanics version is probably the
appropriate one for you.
