E-34 Clutch problem

Hello group,
 Can anyone give me some advice on a problem I'm having. Drove my 94 525I 
home last night, parked it like I always do, came out the next morning to go 
to work and the clutch went right to the floor. No sound no pop no grind 
nothing. Will this be a major repair or a minor linkage or hydralic issue? 
Has anyone else had this happen to them I would like to kwow how much money 
to put aside.
