Caliper problems revisited

I thought I'd ask again, as I really didn't get an answer to my problem
with my 92 325i.

My rotors have been warping a lot (3 sets in last 2 years).  The BMW
mechanic just suggested it might be a bad caliper, keeping one pad
against the rotor when it's hot.  Does this make sense?

Although they said they cleaned the caliper before, I'm wondering if a
more thorough cleaning/dismantling might alleviate the problem?
Anything else you might suggest could be causing such quick warping?

BTW, we've eliminated ball joints as a possibility.
