I found an ad in this months Roundel Magazine for Tirerack,
advertising snow tires. They had a list of "package deals" at the
bottom which included 4 wheels and 4 tires for one price. They listed
a set for my 330Ci for $732, which I was really excited about since
the tires themselves would be close to $600. However, when I called
to ask a question about it, they said "oh, that must be a typo, the
real price for that package would be $1,300."
So I'm wondering, is there any legal reason they should honor that
price? I mean they got to proof their ad from the printer, and there
is no disclaimer in the ad.
If not, is it possible to get steel wheels for my car? The ones above
are Alloy, and I only want them for snow tires, so that's not
important. Also, the ones they had in the package are Blizzak
LM-22's, are those good for a rather snowy area in upstate NY? They
list several other brands here, Dunlop Graspic's, Michelin Alpin,
Pirelli, and Yokohama. Should I look at any of those?
