Re: Wife wants to sell her 95 540i - which coupe to buy?! Problem: She doesn't want a 3 series! Help!



   Stephen;
         First off,if you want to buy the Jag,I'll come pick you up every 
six weeks when it's in the shop.Great looking car...disastrous service 
record.And I have a friend who is a Jag service Mgr.HE won't drive one.
         On the replacement;have you two given any thought to changing the 
appearance of the current 540i,both outside and underneath, instead of 
replacing it?
         The car handles better than most sports cars with just a little 
upgrade work,and can be made to look VERY aggressive.

         Ask me how I know.
         We had one that looked like it was going 50mph...and that was when 
it was parked!
