You may have a bad diode(s) in the alternator ..
And it may be introducing AC voltage into the system..
This is very hard on control units both engine and ABS (The electrical
version of pouring sand into the engine oil filler)
and will kill batteries
Voltage will still be there .. just the wrong kind ...
Have your tech check for this by looking at the oscilloscope pattern of the
voltage output. It should look like interconnected "M's" MMMMMMMMM (with
rounded peaks and a definitive cutoff line at the bottom. If the Diode's are
bad the pattern will have a full sign wave like a mirror image of the "M"
attached to where the definitive cutoff line should be
