First of all, great choice buying a "real ///M" car....ok,ok, my flame suit
is on (please let it go...I'm just kidding!)....I have always used Valvoline
15w-40 in my M5 since "nearly" new and it does "not" burn oil...I very seldom
(if ever, as I remember) needs oil added between oil changes.
