Alpine CD-Changer in Glovebox

Has anyone installed a 6-disk Alpine CHA-S624 CD-changer in the glove 
box of a E46? Does it happen to fit nicely? If not, did you do custom 
fabrication?

Does anyone know what a replacement glove box would cost in the event 
of custom fabrication so it can be returned to its original condition 
later? If you know that, do you know how much the plastic kick panel 
pieces are? I will also need to replace those as a result of my 
install plans.
