My fuel gauge was dead with the R light blazing away. Apparently the E36 dosen't like you starting the car with the drivers door open, it can effect the fuel gauge. Well picky picky... Just pull the fuse for 10sec and you're back in business. It's #31 in mine. J '95 M3 ------------------------------
