quick clutch question ('86 e30)
Greetings Digesters,
Well my clutch pedal hit the floor one cold morning earlier this week and I
have a couple of questions. The initial reason looked like my fault because
I found the brake fluid to be quite low (below the feed to the clutch
line). So I filled up the reservoir, worked the pedal a bunch and watched
the bubbles surfacing in the brake reservior. Then I used the bleeder valve
on the slave cylinder to bleed the system.
I thought that would be it but two days later the same symptoms re-appeared
though the brake reservoir is still full.
Before I go and carefully re-bleed the system, is this the sign of a master
or slave cylinder failure ?
Thanks,
Josh
