RE: Fuel Costs



Well for those of you who want to compare gasoline costs, here is South
Eastern PA I pay 1.399 for Sunoco 94 (it actually went up 9.9cents since
summer).  To the guy that put the chip, etc. in his car, you wanted the
extra performance, put in the best gas you can buy, at least 92 octane
or watch it slowly self destruct.  I have an '84 and '85 stock 318i that
will not run on less than 92 with out pinging and they both are set up
perfectly.  I'd never consider running less than 93 in my '91 318is that
has been modified, hence I use Sunoco 92 in both the '84 and '85 with
the occasional tank full of 94 and only 94 in the '91.  this old saying
comes to mind:  "If you want to play, you have to be willing to pay."
