1998 e36 M3 engine and tranny.

I just bought an 18,000 miles old engine, transmission, LSD with all
electronics off of an e36 ///M3 for practically a song. 

The car was totalled, but none of these components were damaged. What are
some good uses for it? stick it into an e30 325ic or e30 m3 (I have those)?
or maybe buy an e36 318is or ti shell...? 

I don't know what to do with it yet, but I just can't pass up the deal...
