<E21> '83 320i wet carpet

hello,

it's been raining hard the last week or so here in washington state and my passenger side rear floorboard is collecting
water. this is not a heater core related problem just for the record. this is pure water leaking in from somewhere. it does
not appear to be coming through the sunroof. just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what a possible fix might
be.
