<E30> Replace valve seals on ETA without removing head ??

QUESTION:

Is it possible to replace the valve seals and maybe the valve 
guides without removing the cylinder head?

I am not sure, but feel certain someone on this list can give 
a definitive answer.  I think the biggest problem will be
removing the cam shaft...might not be enough room to 
slide it out without hitting the radiator.
