Subject: 1973 - 2002a rear breaks are *smoking*

The car is a 1973 2002a (automatic) which just recently had a simular issue
wit
the front breaks heating up (smoking at high speed) which was resolved by
replacing both sets of rubber breaklines (to the front).

Now I am getting the same effect with the right rear wheel only. >>>>

Could be the rear flex hoses as well - there are two and they can swell
inside like the fronts - and the clutch hose as well! Then it could be that
the brakes need to be adjusted; rt. side handbrake cable too tight; general
rusting of the brake mechanism; broken or loose return spring; etc. Best to
pull the drum, have a look and think about those flex hoses ( and they are a
pig to get at!)
