FWIW - Oil Flo Safety Solvent is the only thing I have tried that will remove
this type of adhesive and not mar clear coated wheels. Bug and Tar Remover is
mostly kerosene and will damage or mar the clear coat on a factory wheel.
Doesn't a powder-coated wheel have an clear top coat for lustre? In any event,
its the only thing I would use for really stubborn stains, brake dust, etc.
