Rattling E36 door panel

My driver's door panel on my '93 325i is loose and the rattling is driving
my insane (pardon the pun).
Rather then plunking down $200 for a new panel, does anyone know how I can
fix the "clip mounts" (or whatever they're called) at the top edge. It
seems the fiberboard has broken around where they attach ? I brought it to
the boobs at Park Avenue BMW (in NJ) to look at and all they did was break 2
more. I was so digusted I couldn't even argue. TIA.
