Dash removel and replacement

I have a 86' 325es with a cracked dash. I aslo have my old crashed 85
325e. I wanted to know if the dash's are the same. And can the dash be
removed and replaced with the other dash that is in immacuculate
condtion. I've looked at the bentley manual and there is no were that it
tell about removing the whole dash. Any help would be great and/or
places that might be able to help me.
