New Tires for 1989 535i (E34)

I have a 1989 535i (E34) that desperately needs new tires.  Last time I
bought Pirelli P4000's.  They were pretty good except they slipped some in
snow/rain.  I am currently considering the Pirelli P6000 SuperVeloce (not to
be confused with the straight P6000).  I've read some good things about
them.

Anyone have any comments on the P6000 SV?

Anyone have any suggestions other than the P6000 SV?
