warranty question

Hello Everyone, 

I have a 98 M3 with 40,000 miles (loads of I95 .
It is going in for the inspection II and I was told it would cost about $525
from Braman in Palm Beach.
I have also heard that if the inspection II is done within 12 months of
inspection I that inspection II is free. Does anyone have any experience
with this?

Also I am driving to Atlanta next Wednesday for the races. Is anyone else
from Florida driving up?
