a few weeks ago somebody posted a note about the stiffness of the throttle in
an E36. i've found this to be the case as well, both in my car and the others
i've driven. so today i set about to lube it. lubed the cable. lubed the
linkage at the t-body. lubed the pivots at the pedal. lubed everything....
and it made little difference. so i decided it was just to tightly sprung,
and disconnected the return spring at the pedal. *much better*. maybe this
removes a bit of redundancy... but i don't believe i've ever seen the return
spring in a trottle body fail, so i feel pretty safe.
