The recent post about the vintage races at Lime Rock prompted me to 
mention an important upcoming event for BMW owners, especially the E9 
coupe (CS, CSi, CSL) owners. It is Euro 99 at BMW Manufacturing in 
Spartanburg, SC in Ocotber. The E9 coupe is being honored with the 
first ever Coupe Day by BMW MC. BMW will be the featured marque this 
year, it is a charity event with the recipient charity being The Red 
Cross Disaster Releif Fund.

There will some driving events. a car show, tours through the 
manufacturing facility, truly world class in itself. All this on the 
front lawn of BMW Manufacturing's Zentrum (museum).

Groups of coupes will be caravaning from different parts of the 
country to arrive together. Come on down. look up www.eurocarshow.com
