Jim, do you have an Individual or something?

line 1 identifies that it's an Individual car. =

line 2 is for special paints. If the vehicle is painted with a color =

that is standard for that model, lines 2,3, and 4 will be in their =

normal locations. =

line 3 is color code(s) of paint(s) on the car. If standard BMW color =

then it will have the normal three-digit code. Why plural? Two-tone =

paints available! ;-) =

line 4 is the color of filler used with a special color. Fueller =3D =

Filler, Grau =3D Gray. =

line 5 "technik/Ausstattung will appear whenever there has been a =

modification to vehicle equipment. =


Sticker is usually on passenger strut tower. =


If your car does not have the sticker then it is not an Individual car. =

I had the rear diffuser and door handles painted to match the car on my =

97 M3. So it is possible to have certain parts painted which look =

factory "fresh." Dealers generally don't know their asses from their =

elbows! =
