[E30][M42]Thanks & Another belt (& a hose) question

[ Many thanks for the advice given on my last belt question from:
Gary Derian 	Gary Lin  Paul de Jong Michel Drainville. I'm now
optimistic that I'll survive this episode... :-) I even purchased
a "Hose Kit" from Bav. Autosport at the same time I ordered the 
belts and (as advised by at least one person) will take care of 
that as soon as my car is mobile enough to get me somewhere to 
get the radiator coolant I'll need to do that.] 

Question 1: I have to remove the power steering & air conditioning belts
		  in order to replace the alternator belt.

		Other than no air conditioning (which I rarely use anyway)
		what would happen if I don't put the air conditioning belt
		back right away (I was thinking of waiting until I replace
		the coolant hoses I now have a box of... when I have more room
		to do it...

Question 2:

		I need to replace a hose that LOOKS LIKE it's the/one of the
		"crankcase ventilation breather hose" displayed in figure 1
		on pg. 4-2 of the Chilton's E30 manual.... some "kind of"
		vacuum hose. Does anyone have a part number for this object ?
		or even a better picture than the one I mentioned ? Has anyone 
		ever replaced one of these ? ANd how difficult was that ?
