Jim C. Chip

I posted a couple questions here regarding Jim C. chip questions but
didn't get any bites (weak pun intended), so here goes again.

To be brief, I want to know if I should make any other changes to the
car (ie. K&N Filter, exhaust system) BEFORE getting it chipped or will
the Jim C. chip handle all those factors.  Any body out there who's done
this before and knows I'd appreciate hearing from.
