aftermarket, direct-plug alarm for 328i

does anyone have any experience with/ opinions on the Steller aftermarket
alarm (plugs into factory alarm port) or similar aftermarket, direct-plug
alarm for 2000 328i?

If they are not distinctly better, I would simply opt for the OEM unit, but
it does seem that you get a lot more for the money with a the non-oem
units-- assuming they don't make problems.
