RE 1987 325 - Problems with Speedometer

I had a similar problem with an e30 1987 325.  Solution...the fuse was loose in
the box.  Apparently the prior owner had a cell phone power lead inserted into
the fuse box (at the fuse).  So when the phone was removed, the fuse connection
was loose.  In my case the radio also cut out at the same time.  If you are
loosing the radio too, then it is most likely the power connection.  If you are
not loosing the radio, then my idea is off the mark.  Good luck.
