Hello friends,
I have a stock suspension 6/95 M3 with the 7.5 double spoke lightweight rims
on all four. My 235.40.17 rear Pilots are just about toast (12k on them)
and the fronts are h-rated crap. (On the car when I bought it) I hear good
things about the BFG TA KD's however, they come in 225.45.17 and 245.40.17,
no 235 action. Tire Rack says I can use 245.40.17 in the rear but only 235
in the front i.e. 225 for KDs. My question is: Am I better off going 225
all the way around or 245r-225f? Or by some miracle is it possible to use
245.40.17 all around with no rubbing.
Is the KD (225.45.17) worth switching to over the 235 MXX3 if I have to go
225 on all four. (based on dry street performance?)
Thanks for your time.
Brian
