Engine Swapping...

I just bought a 1986 528e (for the engine only) and will be putting it
into my 1988 528 SuperETA's blown motor spot. I am wondering what kind
of things I need to modify with the computer, harness from the
computer, the diagnostic connector, or can I use the one that is
currently on my '88?
So many questions, so few days off...
