Sounds like the throwout bearing, my friend. Since you didn't say you didn't go anywhere
when the clutch pedal was out, I'll assume the clutch is still working. The bearing is
cheap, having someone replace it ain't. Check the clutch while they're in there - save
you the $$ later.
