E30 starter replacement - done

Thanks to everyone who replied to my questions on the replacing the starter
on a '84 318i.

Just a note on a trick to get the top nut on the bolt that goes through the
trans, I glued the nut on the starter before installing with rubber cement.
This holds the nut until the bolt grabs the nut.  It's so tight, no wrench
fits.  I jammed a screwdriver between the nut and engine block as suggested
by a responder.  BTW $50 for a used starter with a 90 day guarantee from
Double Oh salvage.

Replaced the original radio also.
