Idle stumbling..

 OK.. let's start from the top..

 What year is your car.. is it Manual Trans or Auto Trans, and what
 DME number is it.. this will lead to what chip SHOULD be in the car.

 And of course, what chip number DO you have (on the label of the new chip)

 Realize that there is nothing that is touched in the idle or warmup circuits
 in those DME's when I reprogram.. so where could the problem lie.

 1) Possibly wrong chip (not often.. almost never.. but it happens)

 2) When you put IN the chip, you have to "move things" maybe something is 
    loose..

 3) 500 rpms is WAAAYYY to low for the idle speed on your car.
   
    It should be running between 760 to 1050 depending on the coolant temp

    760 is full warmed up idle speed.. if an A/T car, then 720

    If it's not at that idle speed, there is most likely something
    wrong...
