<E-30> Short Shifter.....The Best for the $$$ (??)

I am installing my 5 speed transmission in my 325 ESI (with my hail dammage 
money) :)  Would like to know who has the best features for the money.  What 
is the difference b/t short shift and ERK?  How much should I expect to pay?
