Apologies for my emailer if this is dup'ed

What a way to come out of lurking mode.
My Boston Green/Modena 96 M3 was stolen today in broad
daylight outside of my work site. This follows the Sunday theft
of my computer bag from my office in a 'secure' building
(the bag unfortunately had my valet key in it).
I discovered the missing key only yesterday and didn't
have the locks changed yet. ugh. The police were kind and
sympathetic.
CA plates 3UIE701, 40,650 miles
VIN: WBSBG 9328 TEY 72593
The car has a Dinan blower, gauges, stealth V1, Bilsteins/H&R/R&D
sways. ContourII with 2 week old S02 PP's in front (235/40) and
50% tread on S02's in the rear (245/40).
StonGard'd mirrors, hood, spoiler. Sheepskins- new
owner has as-new seats.
The irony is that i picked up the car today at 2pm for fresh belts
(discovered the missing key when car was submitted for a Laguna
tech inspection). The IFG wheel order will be canceled tomorrow
as will the BMP brake cooling kit.
The only positive thing is that i don't have to wait 6-8 months to sell
a highly modified car to recoup the mod costs. Maybe a kind and
connected BMW rep will allow me early purchase of the E46 M3 ?
