Mounting aftermarket seats in 87 535i

Greetings,

I recently posted a question about where to buy Recaro seats, or another
good type of aftermarket seat. When I find them, do I need to buy a
mounting bracket like I did for the 2002, or is there some way to
utilize the existing seat controls, less seat back angle and headrest
adjustment? If not, what do you do with all the controls for the seats?
Has anyone found a good use for all those buttons, or do you remove them
and replace the center console with perhaps one without electric seats,
if they even exist?

Any information would be appreciated.
