FS-Euro 2.8 engine

Euro 2.8 liter engine from a 1980 628. Relatively recent head, newer
casting.
The engine is in St. Louis. What differences are there between this
engine and the American?
I noticed in the BMW Buyer's Guide that it has more HP than an American
3.3.
What is the engine worth out there? I need money for two 5 series
passenger doors.
