Blower not working

Hello Digest Members,

For the last 3 weeks when I turned, now the heater blower up I got a
loud grinding noise, then two days ago the fuse went out everytime I put
a new one in it blows again. I was told to replace the blower motor, but
I would like to know how I can be sure this is the problem. Can anyone
tell me where to locate the blower motor on an 88 735i, and how I can
check it to see it it's the problem.
