The check light is supposed to blink when you start the car until you step on
the brake the first time.  Otherwise, if it is blinking, you should look up at
the indicator panel above the rear view mirror and press the button.  It will
show you the fault and the check light should stop blinking.  If this does not
solve the problem, there is an electrical fault in the circuitry.
