Hope this is not too late, but I just had a Getrag 265 (5-speed E30 M3/1985
535i tranny) shipped to me in Seattle from Vermont.  Weighed about 75lbs and
cost about $50, UPS ground.  The unit is actually much smaller than I had
imagined.
