Coolant leak?

I have a 1985 325e with 147,000 miles on it. It just started leaking
coolant. The coolant light comes on then I have to put more water in. It
never overheats just the water goes down were in set off the coolant
sensor. Do I need a new water pump? What else could it be. The Radiator
was just replaced 7k ago. The hoses do not leak. Could it be the
expansion tank cap. Any help would be great.
