Subject: BMW info WARNING
Rodney,
Someone posted your fedworld info on the big coupe group website...this was
my reply....pls send it to the seven series group and anyone else you think
might react.

For some years, I have ordered stuff from Kent Moore only to be
disappointed...illegible copies, don't have that Number, out of stock,
extremely expensive, long delays in shipment, etc.
I am a lawyer and a shop owner and am compiling info regarding BMW's failure
to provide info to owners and independent shops as the law provides they
must. If anyone tries tho Kent Moore route and is unhappy for any reason,
PLEASE send me info regarding your problems...otherwise, BMW may be able to
continue to make life difficult for all the owners and independents out
there. A good example is the fact that the newest Electrical Troubleshooting
Manuals don't have component locations for any of the myriad switches,
relays, controllers, fuses, etc. Of course as a customer, you won't mind
paying extra labor so that a technician can disassemble your dash to find
that cute little failed electrical gremlin causing your wipers to fail in a
downpour.
Of course this won't be a problem when we all have to take our cars to the
dealer only because no one else out there has the info to fix them.
