<ALL> Court Day Advice -- Thanks

To all those who responded to my request for assistance last
week regarding my case in court, I would like to thank you for
your advice that did indeed help me get the best bargain in
court. I pleaded guilty to the following :

1. Defective Brakes
2. Unsafe Driving ( Too Fast For Conditions)

I asked to give a statement to the court. I was in mid sentence
saying that I was in the process of fixing the brakes at the time
of the accident....when the judge cut me short and said that..how
about we give you probation for the next six months and give
you a chance to keep your record clean....I didn't even get a
chance to show my defensive drivers certificate that I had
obtained voluntarily. Both tickets were going to cost me $270
in total..probation and court costs are going to come to $155.
I am currently not a bimmer owner, but I plan to as soon as
I can recoup my losses. I'm currently driving an 88 Audi 80 Quattro,
it lacks the power my totaled 86 325e had in 1st and 2nd, takes
more gas but it sure can kick ass in the upper gears, and ofcourse
you really have to look hard to get the best deals in parts if you
are to save money, its Bentley manual costs a bomb at $100+.
Its a good car but I sure do miss my Bimmer....I'm thinking of
getting another by the time this summer ends...possibly a
newer 325...in the 89 - present model range. In the meantime I will
take a back seat as far as discussions go, participate where I
can if I can and hope for the best. Thanks again. Drive safely.
