<E30, M42> recommended books?

Hello:

I'm an owner of a '91 318i.  I'd like to do a lot of fixing (see following
posts).  The problem is that the car has the E36 engine (M42?) and I need
the book to account for this.  

Since there only seems to be 1 Bentley/Haynes manual for E30, it doesn't
appear that they will cover my car.  Should I purchase the E30 and E36
books and use the E36 book for the engine stuff and the E30 for the body?
