administrivia: kibort filter is a problem

apologies for the excessive kibort festivities; here is the full story so
that all of you understand what was going on:

i put in a filter for messages from mark kibort. the intent would be that i
reviewed them and only forwarded reasonable ones.

not being an export on the AFM/MAF stuff, i forwarded a number of kibort
postings that i was unaware would be inflammatory

then, i found out that the kibort filter, which had worked for a little
while, was broken.

i am now busy being very confused about why the kibort filter doesn't work.
this is a problem that would need to be resolved in any case, before any
remote/assisted administration scheme could be put in place.

in the mean time, please, everyone, restrain yourselves from excessively
inflammatory and/or hostile postings, ok?
