  Thanks for everyone for the enlightening time on this list.  I have
enjoyed the conversations private and some public.
I have learned many lessons about this group and people in general.  Man,=

there are some vicious people out there , I guess  Ive been spoiled by  t=

non judgemental folks at  track and on other lists.

anyway, everyone made me crack the books for all the questions .  I
understand even better, concepts that
were fading from the old school days.   I read manuals, books, old
thermodynamics class notes, and really understand
better the concepts I was talking about .  =


This is a sharp crowd.  But, a mean group too.   Anyway , have a good gro=

caused all the grief:

1.  max ram from a hoodscoop is .35psi at 160mph @ 75% efficiency and tha=
ts
the best.
2.  eram makes 10 hp, 7 hp gains by attaching to the air box
3.  saving 8 lbs on a e30 flywheel is only 1hp at 5-6krpm
4.  alternators dont use 3 hp for  production of 400 watts of electrical
energy   (30 amps)
5.  a person cannot generate 1 hp.   (this was a big one a while ago,
remembe?)
6.   AFM is a mass flow device , but not called such.

those are a few of the major battles of people that couldnt  remember
highschool math.
