the entire previous posting should be treated as a rhetorical exercise.

i don't believe in hollow threats, or public whining. the fact that i sent
the posting at all tells me that it's time to shut this sucker down, so
nobody should waste any time trying to talk me out of it. i will terminate
the bmw-digest tomorrow afternoon, irrespective of any arguments why i
should continue it.
