re: E30 power windows

Digest,

I just came back from a long road trip, and I just began having problems
with my drivers side power window. It goes down fine, but seems to be "hit
or miss" regarding closure. I think it might be a loose wire on the
console, but am unsure of the causative factor. 

Has anyone had similar problems, and if so, what was the cause??
