BMW Service Manuals, Fiche to CD Conversion

Greetings all,
I own a "euro" M635CSi and I cannot find a service manual in any format that
I can use at home. Sorry, I do not own a Microfiche reader of any type,
especially to fit those oversize fiches that BMW provides through their
dealerships.
I have started inquiring about converting my BMW microfiche service manual to
a format I can use at home, the venerable computer CD. Has anyone completed
this conversion before, and if so, what company did they use?
Since I have already paid for the service manual, and I do not wish to pay
for it a second time, I would love to spread this cost across several of us
out there with the same service manuals. I have a few questions:
	(1) If I (and all of my new friends) already own the microfiche service
manuals, is it legal to transfer it into a CD format and spread the cost of
the conversion?
	(2) How do I ensure that I do not "step on" any copyright infractions?
Possibly make my new friends send a Xerox of their fiche?
	(3) If this sounds like a good idea, what manuals would you like to be
included on the CD. Currently I only have the service manual, but are there
other manuals which you would like to see included? (i.e., parts manual if it
is available)
I would love to keep the unit cost of this around $10 a copy. I wouldn't
even be addressing this issue if BMW would get off of their butt and do this
for us, the owners of these fabulous automobiles!
If BMW refuses to do this for us, by golly I will get off my duff to provide
the service "at cost!" I hope this rattles BMW NA into action (but I know it
will have no effect).
