Tires with plugs

Michael -

I only have two data points for you, but maybe
they will help -

1 - I had a plug put into a rear Mich Pilot MXX3, and
ran it another 10,xxx miles until it was BALD, with no
ill effects.

2 - I had an instructor who had an R1 plugged, and
used it on the track (quite quickly) with no ill effects.

However, if you have a tire plugged, and you die
in a mushroom cloud of fire as a result of running on
a plugged tire, its not my fault.
