e36 micro-filter replacement

Thanks to the resources on this digest and instructions from the
unofficialbmw site, I was able to replace the micro-filter in my e36
last weekend. It was a little scary at first (I've got this apart, will
it go back together? I have to break what to get it out, in?), but
ultimately successful. It is possible and preferable to do without
removing the glove box.
